Cadillacspecs.com – Cadillac has revealed the 2024 Cadillac Escalade V model year changes. The most major change for 2024 is that Super Cruise will be standard on all models save the base Luxury. This is true for both the normal ‘Sclade and the ESV with a long wheelbase. The Escalade-V also receives the aforesaid Super Cruise upgrade.
Cadillac already has one of the most appealing designs in the full-size market, and the Escalade-V continues in that tradition. Radiant Red Tintcoat, Argent Silver Metallic, Black Raven, Crystal White Tricoat, and Dark Emerald Metallic are among the color options for the V. The red was by far our favorite of the specimens we saw, but Emerald Green sounds interesting as well. The V, like the normal Escalade, is available in conventional and extended wheelbase configurations, with the latter offering extra passenger and cargo space.

2024 Cadillac Escalade V Interior
Cadillac didn’t want to overdo it with red highlights, carbon fiber, and Alcantara. The interior of the 2024 Cadillac Escalade V is the same as that of the Escalade Platinum, and it comes in either Black or Auburn. There’s some Zebra Wood and a V insignia on the dash, but it’s otherwise simply an Escalade. We believe this was a wise decision because many Cadillac consumers would not want the Escalade to be too extravagant on the inside. The inside is first-rate, with semi-aniline leather in all three rows and lovely massaging chairs in the front.
The 38-inch diagonal OLED screen real estate will impress first-row passengers. This incorporates a 14.2-inch-diagonal center cluster that can project an augmented reality camera view (or night vision camera view) with navigation cues, which adds a significant wow factor. The display, according to Cadillac, has twice the pixel density of a 4K television, and it certainly appears to have that. The primary infotainment system is located on a big 16.9-inch touchscreen and is linked to a fantastic AKG Studio Reference 36-speaker audio system.
2024 Cadillac Escalade V Engine
The Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing shares its 6.2-liter V8 engine, the LT4. It does, however, get a larger 2.65-liter TVS supercharger, which boosts power to 682 horsepower and torque to 653 lb-ft. No, it’s not as much as the 710-hp Durango Hellcat, but the Dodge is no longer being manufactured. Thanks to launch control, the 2024 Cadillac Escalade V accelerates to 60 mph in under 4.4 seconds (4.5 in the ESV). Cadillac forecasts that the V will sprint the quarter-mile in under 12.8 seconds. Cadillac hasn’t specified a top speed, but we believe the Escalade-V will hit 124 mph; ask us how we know this. The Escalade V can tow 7,000 lbs when used for more routine duties.
First Impression
Cadillac engineers informed us that the Escalade needed to earn its V badge, but they didn’t want to compromise what makes this model so unique. Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 and Air Ride Adaptive Suspension, like the basic model, work together to give exceptional ride comfort, removing imperfections in the road surface as if it were freshly paved.
The 2024 Cadillac Escalade V is no Blackwing around the corners, but as long as the road isn’t too narrow, it feels quite composed. Those enormous Brembo brakes do an admirable job of bringing everything to a halt, but stopping this much heft is never going to be easy.
2024 Cadillac Escalade V Price And Release Date
The 2024 Cadillac Escalade V costs $149,990 (including destination charge) for the base model and $152,990 for the ESV. This is before any options, such as the Super Cruise ($2,500). What’s additional three grand if you need more room? It is worthwhile.
Does anyone really “need” a Cadillac Escalade-V? Not at all. A regular Escalade is equally as powerful and luxurious. Cadillac designed this vehicle for the discriminating customer who believes that enough is never enough. And the corporation achieved its target.
